People On Board is a social enterprise established in Hong Kong in April 2012 with private capital. Its full name is People On Board Social Enterprise Limited. The founder is Thomas Wong Chung Hang, who, inspired by his two daughters, designed his first board game, "The Legend of Cheng Po Tsai". He later drew on his experience working with youth and parent groups during his time as a social worker to establish People On Board. People On Board is currently listed in the Social Enterprise Directory of the Hong Kong Council of Social Service (HKCSS) - HSBC Social Enterprise Business Center, and is also an affiliate member of the Hong Kong Social Enterprise Federation. In 2016, it was awarded the SEE Mark certification (Foundation Level) by the Federation.

•  People On Board is listed in the HKCSS Social Enterprise Directory: Since 2007, the Social Enterprise Business Center of the Hong Kong Council of Social Service has published the "Social Enterprise Directory" annually. It lists information on social enterprises across Hong Kong for public access in various formats, including print (PDF), an online search engine, and mobile apps (iOS: https://goo.gl/h1S9tC iOS & Android: https://goo.gl/htHiHr). Supported and recognized by the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, the "Social Enterprise Directory" serves as a vital reference for government departments, public institutions, corporations, and educational institutions in fulfilling their responsible procurement obligations. 
• People On Board is an affiliate member of the Hong Kong Social Enterprise Federation: The Hong Kong Social Enterprise Federation (referred to as the "Federation") was established in 2009 as a key platform for Hong Kong's social enterprise sector and a driving force behind the social enterprise movement. The Hong Kong Social Enterprise Federation serves as a bridge between the government, the business sector , academia, the social welfare sector, and social enterprises. In addition to implementing the "Social Enterprise Certification" program, the Federation advocates for social enterprises, provides policy recommendations to the government regarding social enterprises, regularly organizes workshops to help social social enterprises enhance their operational capabilities, and collaborates with various organizations to promote social enterprises. 
• People On Board received the "Social Enterprise Certification" at the Founding Level in 2016: 社企 The SEEMARK "Social Enterprise Certification" by the Social Enterprise Federation is a professional, objective, and comprehensive assessment system applicable to social enterprises of various sizes, categories, and lengths of operation. As of May 2019, a cumulative total of 145 social enterprise projects has been certified.

People On Board's core business is designing and publishing original Hong Kong - based board games suitable for family use, with the aim of achieving the following four social objectives: 

Social Objective:

• Quality Parent-Child Relationships: Designing board games suitable for Hong Kong families to create quality parent-child time and strengthen family bonds.
• Preventing Video Game Addiction: Encouraging Hong Kong families to make good use of board games, put down "digital pacifiers", and prevent video game addiction.
• Promoting Local Cultural Creativity: Harnessing the creativity of young people to design board games with Hong Kong characteristics, thereby promoting local cultural creation.
• Creating Employment Opportunities: Creating employment opportunities for disadvantaged communities living in remote areas of Hong Kong.
